Alien blaster ammo near the oasis area?

I know this question probably gets asked alot but I havent played fallout 3 in a very long time. I remember finding alien power cells near the Oasis area. The only thing i can remember is following a trail of alien power cells. the problem is i cant seem to remember where the exact place was at, all i know was it was near oasis. When i originally found this place i was exploring on the mountain tops. Has anyone found alien power cells in this area or am i mistaken? if so please tell me.
